Is Anything too Hard for God?

But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

Acts 8:40

I can’t imagine the feeling that Philip was experiencing. He goes from an amazing mission trip in Samaria, to an amazing God directed trip for a single Ethiopian in the desert, and then, of all crazy things, he is “caught up” by the Spirit and finds himself in Azotus in Palestine. This is all before the Star Trek “beam me up Scotty” idea ever came into being. Pretty amazing!

I have this verse all by itself for study because sometimes we put limits on our Great God. We forget that He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient. This single verse describes not only a miracle but breaks all of the explanation that man might have for what God does. Just think, the God who did this for Philip, is the same God that we worship today. Nothing is too hard for Him. He is not limited by our finite thoughts of time and space…He is God.

Are you in awe of God and His greatness? Do you spend time praising Him and thinking about His character? Spend time today praising His greatness and realizing that absolutely nothing is too hard for Him.
